eznest does not charge for leads, bids, listings, seats, or placement. Marketplace origination and payment facilitation are separate services with separate fees, shown before acceptance.

Nothing is collected yet. eznest charges none of these fees today; they are the rates that will apply once fee collection is switched on.

Three rails, one payment rule

The relationship—not a dropdown—determines the fee.

Every eznest-facilitated payment carries the 0.5% payment-facilitation fee and actual processor cost. Marketplace-originated work also carries its marketplace service fee.

For a homeowner relationship or project originated through eznest matching. The marketplace service fee and payment-facilitation fee are distinct and both are disclosed.

  • No fee for receiving, reviewing, declining, or bidding on a lead.
  • The marketplace rate is snapshotted when the project is awarded.
  • 0.5% applies whenever eznest processes the payment.
  • Actual payment-processing cost is shown separately without an eznest markup.
  • A refund of principal reverses both eznest fee components proportionally.

Direct client payments

For a provider-owned or imported client relationship that did not originate through eznest matching.

  • Actual Stripe processing is additional, without an eznest markup.
  • The provider/payee bears the facilitation fee and processor cost.

  • The backend—not the invoice composer—must prove eligibility.
  • Marketplace-originated work cannot be moved onto this rail.

Pro-to-pro payments

For one validated eznest business invoicing another validated eznest business.

  • Both payer and payee businesses must pass validation.
  • Actual Stripe processing is additional, without an eznest markup.
  • The provider/payee bears the facilitation fee and processor cost.
  • The rail and 0.5% facilitation rate are snapshotted when the invoice is accepted.
  • The invoice and ledger retain the B2B rail identity.

Worked example

0.5% is the payment-facilitation fee—not the total processing cost.

Each eznest fee below is computed from the published policy. Stripe's processing fee is added at its actual cost, which depends on the payment method and Stripe's rate when the invoice is accepted.

Pricing protections

What we refuse to monetize.

The marketplace should earn from approved work, not from selling access to the chance of work.

No seat tax

Hiring or inviting another team member does not create a per-seat platform charge.

No paid placement

Providers cannot buy a better rank, sponsored match, or preferred listing position.

No lead fee

Receiving, reviewing, declining, or bidding on a marketplace opportunity is free.

No silent re-rate

Awarded work keeps its snapshotted fee; a later policy change cannot rewrite it.

There are no private or negotiated provider-specific rates. The public fee policy published by eznest is the complete rate authority for every new obligation under this policy version.
